Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the Capto Studio iOS application and the website captostudio.app (together, the “Service”), operated by CaptoStudio. By downloading Capto Studio or using the website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

Capto Studio is a native iOS studio for designing App Store screenshots, working with listing copy, exporting ZIP packs, and optionally uploading listing metadata and screenshots to App Store Connect. Features, Free limits, and Capto Pro entitlements are described on the Pricing page and may change as the product evolves.

2. Your content and credentials

You retain rights to screenshots, text, and other materials you create or import. You are responsible for having the rights needed to use those materials, and for safeguarding any App Store Connect API credentials you configure. You grant us a limited license to process content you submit to Pro AI features solely to provide those features.

3. Capto Pro subscriptions

Capto Pro is offered as auto-renewable subscriptions through Apple In-App Purchase (weekly, monthly, and yearly). Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel in your Apple ID subscription settings. Restore purchases in Capto Studio → Settings → Capto Pro.

Capto Pro subscriptions are also subject to Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement (Standard EULA). Refunds, where available, are handled by Apple under Apple’s policies.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse App Store Connect APIs, attempt to circumvent Free or Pro limits, reverse-engineer the app for abuse, overload our AI proxy, or use Capto Studio to violate Apple Developer Program policies or applicable law.

5. AI features

Pro AI features depend on third-party model providers and network availability. Output may be inaccurate or incomplete. You are responsible for reviewing AI-generated text before publishing it to the App Store.

6. Disclaimer

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee App Store approval outcomes. Export sizes follow Apple’s published display classes; Apple may change requirements.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CaptoStudio and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amounts you paid us for Capto Pro in the twelve months before the claim or (b) fifty U.S. dollars (USD $50).

8. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
