FAQ

Questions developers actually ask

Will my App Store Connect .p8 leave my device?
Credentials are stored in the iOS Keychain on your device. CaptoStudio uses them to authenticate with Apple’s API — we do not run a Capto cloud that stores your .p8. Read the Security page for details.
Are export sizes exact App Store dimensions?
Yes. Artboards follow Apple display classes — currently iPhone 6.9" (1320×2868) and iPad 13" (2064×2752). No “close enough” scaling guesses.
How is this different from Figma or Canva?
Those are general design tools. CaptoStudio is a listing studio: exact store sizes, locale documents, ZIP packs, and optional App Store Connect upload in one native iOS workflow.
What are the Free limits?
Free includes up to 3 projects and 2 locales per project. Editing and ZIP export remain available. Capto Pro removes those caps and unlocks App Store Connect upload.
Do you support Android / Play Store?
Not yet. CaptoStudio is focused on App Store Connect (screenshots + publish). Play Store pipelines are out of scope for the current release.
Can I edit listing metadata too?
Yes. The publish flow can review and save listing fields per locale — name, subtitle, promo text, keywords, description, what’s new, and marketing/support URLs — then upload screenshots.
